For This I Will Praise You!

Psalm 18 is a song of thanks, a song of praise- in this song, David recounts the many reasons he has to praise the Lord. And as he recounts these reasons, and as he sings them again to the Lord, his mouth opens as a flower to the rays of the sun, and out of David’s lips pour forth praise to the Lord.
Friends, this is what we need! We, too, must recount the many reasons we have to praise the Lord. We must sing these reasons over and over to ourselves—and to one another—until our hearts burst forth in unending praise to the Lord!
